I came across this TV promo poster and thought the
tagline ("Touch darkness and darkness touches you back") related to what we’ve been studying this week, especially the hands
touching hands metaphor and the Barker article about our skin coming into contact
with the film’s skin.
I'd completely forgotten about this tagline! So interesting that the reversibility we've been discussing is evoked metaphorically (but could be considered more literally according to theorists we've been reading), and especially in terms of the implications within that exchange of touch.
