Music defining the character: Holy Motors

In Leos Carax's Holy Motors, Oscar (Denis Lavant) roams the streets of Paris in a limousine, carrying out various appointments that involve him assuming the identities of odd characters. The changes of identities divides the film into several segments, in some cases, there's no information revealed about the person he is supposed to be. This segment is probably the shortest, and perhaps the most memorable: Oscar appears as The Accordionist in a church and performs a short musical piece with a band. There is nothing to be learnt about him besides his music; as they walk away at the end of the clip, he is shown back in the limousine, putting on makeup to become an assassin. His characters are all very different, and The Accordionist stands out with his unexpected, catchy musical sequence.
